Are you a crocheter who is interested in knitting?
I have often heard that knitting looks like the “harder” craft. In reality, I don’t think comparing the two is fair, other than the fact that they are fiber crafts. The differences go beyond the tools, and they isn’t one that is inherently “better” than the other one. Different craft, different results, all beautiful!
I find a lot of value in knowing both crafts. I started as a knitter and later learned to crochet. I used both for different projects and sometimes even more than one in a single project. It tends to be crocheters who say “I could never knit”, and I don’t think that’s true. In fact, if you are already a seasoned crocheter, you have more tools than someone who hasn’t learned either craft, and should have an advantage with skills that are transferable to knitting.
